Andrew Novakovic

Andrew Novakovic is the E.V. Baker Professor of Agricultural Economics at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. His interests and expertise are in understanding the economics of agricultural and food product markets, with a particular focus on dairy foods. This includes the economics of market coordination and pricing, the operation of food processing and marketing firms, and the economic regulation of marketing and pricing activities.

As Dyson’s director of Land Grant Programs, he provides leadership to the academic programs and faculty that contribute to our historic land grant mission, in particular as it connects to our ongoing relationship with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This includes teaching, research, and extension programs. The director of Land Grant Programs assists and represents the dean in certain administrative functions involving our connection to Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Cornell Agricultural Experiment Station, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
